Blended ISW
The blended learning ISW allows you to do 12 hours of learning from home or wherever is most convenient for you and 12 hours in the Teaching and Learning Centre. This format is organized in the following manner:
* 2 week period for pre-work and pre-readings - approximately 4 hours actual work time.
* 1/2 day on-site for introductions, instructions and some class work.
* Approximately 8 additional hours of off-site work in Blackboard.
* 3 - half day on-site to practice your teaching (additional preparation time will be required to plan you teaching sessions.)
We also offer you the opportunity to try an on-line session using Elluminate. This optional opportunity is done in a safe, supported atmosphere where you will have someone to help you if difficulties arise.
Dates:
* March 7, 14, 21, 28 - Faculty/Graduate Students/Postdocs (4:30 - 9:00 p.m.)
